2008 Bassmaster Elite Series
"Bluegrass Brawl" held at Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, KY
Gene Henry and Darin Snapp had a great time fishing with the pro's. On the first day Gene drew tournament pro Byron Hudgins and Darin drew tournament pro Scott Campbell. Both Gene and Darin brought bass to the weigh-in. Day two Gene drew tournament pro Wade Grooms. Day two was a tough day for Gene who failed to bring a fish to the weigh-in and was eliminated from the tournament. Darin, on day two, drew tournament pro Brian Clark. Darin caught 5 nice bass weighing 12 lbs. moving him into 39th place and made the cut to advance to day three, the final day of competition. On day three, Darin fished with Gary Klein and, unfortunately, did not bring any keepers to the weigh-in. Darin finished the competition in 49th place and received a nice check. Thanks to B.A.S.S. for giving Gene and Darin the opportunity to fish in this co-angler tournament. Congratulations to Gene and Darin for a job well done!
